What's New?!
December 15, 2006 - Tennessee Himmies begins :-)
January 6, 2007 - We recently made the decision to place Pansy & Rosie in pet homes,
narrowing our girls down to Dutches, Daisy, and Buttercup.  We will be adding flame point
and some other color girls back to our family as soon as we find some available!  We are
also looking for a blue point male!  This will greatly expand our breeding program and
allow us to have kittens available much more frequently!
January 13, 2007 - We brought a new little girl into our family!  Click on "Our Queens," to
meet Jazzy, our beautiful little doll face lilac point girl - she's adorable!
January 24, 2007 - We've made a lot of changes this week!  We went ahead and placed
Daisy in a pet home, and we've placed Pudding in a breeding home.  We are looking at 2
spectacular boys now and will probably be bringing one of them home this weekend.  We
will either be bringing in a Classic Red Tabby Persian or a solid Chocolate Persian.  Both of
these boys are 2 years old - the red is extreme faced, and the chocolate is doll face.  Stay
tuned for details! :-)
January 25, 2007 - Tennessee Himmies expands and becomes Tennessee Persians!
January 28, 2007 - Tennessee Persians adopts Koakats Drop Dead Red of Kessjillian as
our new stud male.  He is a Red Classic Tabby Persian with an extreme face and will
greatly expand and enhance our breeding program!  Thank you, Dawnde, for entrusting me
with your precious boy!
January 30, 2007 - We have made the decision to bring a beautiful calico female into our
breeding program.  We will have pictures and more information on 2/3/07.  She and Red
will offer us a wide variety of colors!
January 31, 2007 - D is now writing on the Cats topic at Suite101.com.  Please join us
there for articles, blogs, discussions, and more!

February 13, 2007 - We have had several responses to kitten applications bounce back by
spam blockers.  Just an FYI - when I reply to a kitten app, I will be replying from the email
address
tnpersians@comcast.net  Please add us to your approved senders or check your
junkmail for our response to your application.
March 19, 2007 - I've been doing so much writing that I've had to create separate pages
for articles and blogs :-)

April 4, 2007 - Our kittens have been born!  We have 2 tortie females and 1 solid black
boy.  You can see them on
their page here.  All of these kittens currently have perspective
parents.  If one comes open, I will post a notice right away.
April 29, 2007 - All of our kittens currently have homes, and we don't expect more litters
until the fall.  If you are interested in getting on our waiting list, simply submit a
kitten
application.
April 29, 2007 - We are bringing a new little tortoiseshell persian into our breeding
program.  She is from Beechwood's Walk the Line (Joachin), who was sired by our original
stud, Nightecho's Pudding Pie Face.
May 7, 2007 - Our waiting list is "tentatively" full, and we will not be having kittens again
until fall.  We should have kittens born around the end of August, so you can check back
with us.

We do know a reputable breeder who will have 2 litters of himalayans around the end of
June.  You can email Jerry at
beechwoods_persians@yahoo.com

I also know a breeder who has a 2  year old spayed female seal point himmy for sale to a
pet home.    See our "
Available Adults" page.
June 2, 2007 - We have now added 2 little Queens to our family.  Poppy has arrived and
is fitting in wonderfully with our girls.  She is a doll face tortoiseshell with lighter colors and
vivid markings.  We also decided to keep Lily (formerly FooFoo) from our last litter.  She is
also a tortoiseshell but has an adorable little smushy face and sad eyes, adorable!  Her fur
is darker, and her coat is very promising.  See our
Queens page for pictures of them!
June 2, 2007 - All of our kittens have homes, but we will have several litters in the fall.
Dutches will be bred soon and then will get a nice 6 month break before having kittens
again.  Buttercup will be bred in October, and Jasmine will be bred in November.  The sire to
these litters will be our Hooch.  See our
Kittens page for details.
August 1, 2007 - Hooch and Dutches give us 8 brand new babies, and as of August 28,
I've been too busy to stop in and post it under What's New hahaha  We have 1 blue male, 1
blue cream female, 2 black males, 1 black smoke male, and 3 tortie females, all too
adorable for words.
Click here to see their pictures!
November 24, 2007 - Hooch and Jasmine are expecting babies, due on January 21, 2008.
December 9, 2007 - Hooch and Dutches are expecting babies, due on February 8, 2008.
January 7, 2008 - Hooch and Buttercup are expecting babies, due on February 28, 2008.
We're going to have a wonderful, full, fluffy house in the spring!
January 22, 2008 - WE HAVE KITTENS!  Jasmine and  Hooch are the proud parents of 5
bouncing bundles of fur and kisses.  We had 1 cream, 1 red classic tabby, 1 brown classic
tabby, 1 blue, and 1 tortie.
February 11, 2008 - Dutches and Hooch have kittens!  Dutches delivered 3 beautiful
babies - 2 solid black males and 1 blue cream female.
February 23, 2008 - We have one adult cat available to a pet or breeding home.
Buttercup is a traditional doll face Himalayan and is seal point with stunning blue eyes.
She is a wonderful kitty, but she isn't working out with our stud kitty.
UPDATE - Buttercup has found a home with AristoKitty Cattery.
February 23, 2008 - Lily has been bred and will be due on April 3, 2008.  Fill out our
Kitten Application to get on our waiting list.  I will get back to you right away!
