| What makes your Tennessee Persians kitten so special?? |
Unless you just happen to find our website when we have kittens available, you'll probably
begin as a perspective parent on our waiting list. Most people who want a kitten from a
reputable breeder expect and understand that waiting for a kitten is just part of the process.
What makes us different from everyone else is that we allow you to be a part of your
kitten's life from the moment that her birth is planned! Those on our waiting list get
frequent updates on the queen, and from the moment your kitten is born, you'll be able to
watch her growth and development on our Flickr pages! That means that in most cases,
you will be able to see the first picture of your newborn kitten within a couple of hours after
she is born and at least a picture a day until the day you receive your kitten (barring
unforeseen technical difficulties).
Watching your kitten during her first few weeks is not only a joy to experience, but it also
shows how we have interacted with and taken care of your new baby. After all, they're our
new babies first!
And after you take your kitten home, I am committed to you for the life of your kitten should
you ever have questions or just want to share some pictures of your darling.
Your kitten comes with a health guarantee as part of your contract promising that you
will give our kitten the very best life possible. This includes spaying/neutering, keeping
your cat indoors, providing health care and grooming and all her other needs, and a
promise that you will NOT declaw our kitten. When you receive your kitten, she will have
all her age-appropriate worming and shots, and she will have been well accustomed
to being groomed.
Prices of our kittens range from $500 and up, depending on color and other
considerations. Deposits are half the price of your kitten and non-refundable. We do
NOT take paid reservations for unborn kittens, but those on our waiting list will get first
choice right after I know which kittens are available to homes and which are staying with
us. I normally know this within 2 weeks of the kittens' arrival, often sooner. At that time,
we take deposits on specific kittens.
If you choose to have your kitten shipped (weather conditions permitting), the price of
your kitten and all shipping costs must be paid a week in advance, and your schedule
must be flexible so that you can pick your kitten up at the airport whenever it is possible for
me to ship them. Of course we always prefer that you pick your kitten up in person
whenever possible. Shipping is $300.00 to most areas.
We also have our own private courier service that will drive your kitten to you if you're in
any of the states surrounding Tennessee. Prices average $250. Just email for details. This
will certainly help during periods where it's too hot or too cold to ship our babies.
We do accept PayPal, credit card, postal money order and, at the time of pickup, cash.
